We'll also cover the Biker Taker days and just how cool it was to hear Kid Rock and Limp Bizkit on WWF TV (even though you can't hear them anymore on Peacock). Then we'll discuss the final stages of The Phenom's theme and how it has stood the test of time. Join Alex and Travis as we look back at the wild brawl between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels from In Your House: Ground Zero in September of 1997 and discuss the foundation it laid for one of The Undertaker's greatest rivalries. Before he was The Undertaker, he was The Master Of Pain! And Texas Red! And Punisher Dice Morgan! Join wrestling superfans Alex Doriot and Travis White on their encyclopedic exploration digging up The Dead Man as they take their time-traveling hearse back to the days before Mark Calaway became The Phenom we know and love and worked the territories back in the late 80s. It's a sequel to our "Main Event Monstors" episode from a couple of years ago as we've unearthed even more fascinating (and often hilarious) footage from Memphis, Texas, and even Japan. We'll take a look at Taker's first ever televised matches as Texas Red against the legendary Bruiser Brody and The Spoiler. Then we'll head back to Jerry Lawler's CWA in Tennessee to watch the Master Of Pain interact with old and new favorites like Ronnie P. Gossett, The Soultaker, Freezer Thompson, Brian Lee, Ken Raper, Nate The Rat, Jeff Jarrett, Jungle Jim, Action Jackson, and more. Plus we'll also explore Punisher Dice Morgan taking on a rookie Steve Williams (a.k.a. Stone Cold Steve Austin) and teaming up with Bam Bam Bigelow to take on some Japanese all-stars. Along the way we'll discuss Ronnie P.'s enlarged heart, part-time Hardee's workers, the differing thermostats in the buildings, a babyface Freddie Krueger, Master Of Pain's "Ricky Bobby"-style promos, and a boxing match you'll have to see to believe. We discuss meeting in real life for the first time, Tommy and Alex's airport shenanigans, the unbelievable culinary delights of Ford's Garage, our road trip into Cleveland, the Haunted House Restaurant, the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, an endless walk to Machine Gun Kelly's coffee shop, and taking in the Cleveland Guardians game and the greatest fireworks show on earth. Then we discuss our trip to the SummerSlam Superstore and give our SummerSlam preshow predictions. Finally we reconvened on Sunday morning to recap our reactions to the show and just how right (and wrong) we were with all our guesses.
