It's the biggest mismatch in Talking Taker history as Rey Mysterio battles The Undertaker! Join wrestling superfans Alex Doriot and Travis White on their journey through every Undertaker PPV match as we kick off 2010 with this Royal Rumble World Title match that's a ton of fun. You might not think these two could pull off a credible match with a 125 pound difference, but you'd be surprised! Of course, that's not the only thing that's going on as we also discuss the seeds beginning to be sown for the WrestleMania 26 rematch with Shawn Michaels. There's so much going on as we cover a Slammy Awards challenge, dreadful celebrity host appearances from Dennis "Millbern" and Don Johnson and Jon Heder, Christmas Cooking with Vickie and Teddy and Hornswoggle, Batista trying (and failing) to force his way into Rey and Taker's rivalry, Bret Hart returning to the WWE, TNA Impact trying (and failing) to start a new Monday Night War, more Beat The Clock fun, Massive Tool Josh Matthews being rude backstage, Matt Striker striking out on commentary, and so much more. Plus we pay tribute to a couple of legends at the end of the show. Download, enjoy, and Taker Easy!

153 - Survivor Series 2009
Thursday Jul 16, 2020
Thursday Jul 16, 2020
Wellllll it's the Big Show...AND JERICHO! Join wrestling superfans Alex Doriot and Travis White on their journey through every Undertaker PPV match as we cover a World Title Triple Threat Match between The Dead Man, The Big Show, and for the first time ever on PPV, Chris Jericho. Jericho and Taker are two of the biggest stars of this decade and had never had a PPV match, let alone a singles match of any kind up until this point. So why couldn't we have just gotten that at the PPV instead of yet another Big Show appearance? We vent our frustrations at this while also thinking about what might have been. Plus - get ready for all the celebrity guest appearances you can handle as our feud bleeds over into the guest host era of Raw and we are forced to sit through some of the worst television the WWE has ever produced. We'l discuss the agonizing appearances and the many mispronunciations from Kyle Busch, Joey Logano, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, Ricky Hatton, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Luis Guzman, Bobby Flay (not really) and The Iron Sheik (yes really). Along the way we'll also cover the "comedy" of DX and Hornswoggle, the confusing way the Big Show earns his title shot, Teddy Long and Vince McMahon's continued bizarre rivalry, a match between CM Punk and Scott Armstrong, new nicknames for The Undertaker, Matt Striker annoying everyone, Big Show pulling a Jimmy Wang Yang, epic entrances for the Brothers Of Destruction, trips to London and MSG, Santino Marella appreciation, and "I'm from Winnipeg, you idiot!" Plus Alex unboxes the latest additions to his Talking Taker figure collection and vents about losing an eBay auction live during the recording! Download, enjoy, and Taker Easy!

151 - The Last Ride Episodes 4-5
Thursday Jul 02, 2020
Thursday Jul 02, 2020
"This time, the cowboy really rides away." Join wrestling superfans Alex Doriot and Travis White as they pause from their journey through every Undertaker PPV match to cover the emotional final two chapters of "The Last Ride" series on the WWE Network. After an absolutely unprecedented 30 year run in the WWE, the man behind The Dead Man, Mark Calaway, wrestles with his greatest opponent - Father Time. After narrowly escaping a life-threatening injury in a disastrous match against Goldberg, Taker weighs whether it's worth trying to continue searching for his perfect ending. A well-received tag team match (playa) at Extreme Rules 2019 seems to be enough for him. But an enticing opportunity with A.J. Styles at WrestleMania proves to finally be the finale The Phenom has been searching for. We'll analyze all of the major moments from these two episodes including hilarious clips of other wrestlers trying to get him to break character through the years, cameos from Matthew McConaughey and Regis Philbin, the struggle of not being booked for WrestleMania 35, working with young talent at the Performance Center, more classic moments with Vince and Taker backstage, devastating reveals about the family tragedies Undertaker faced before WrestleMania 36, behind the scenes stories about the Boneyard Match, and our thoughts on the legacy Mark Calaway leaves behind. Plus we'll continue to give out our prestigious "Undie" Awards for our favorite moments from each episode! So grab a tissue, download, and Taker Easy!

Buckle up, Teddy! Join wrestling superfans Alex Doriot and Travis White on their journey through every Undertaker PPV match as they hop in the backseat of this time-traveling hearse for a trip to the World Title rematch between Taker and CM Punk inside Satan's Structure at Hell In A Cell 2009! It's the first ever Hell In A Cell PPV, all based on a match The Undertaker put on the map. So why is The Demon Of Death Valley going on first in a 10 minute match? We'll discuss all the reasons why this match (and this PPV concept) never really get off the ground. But before we get there we're covering one of the most absurd and memorable moments in The Undertaker's history as he abducts Teddy Long to get his revenge from the Breaking Point Screwjob - it's so ridiculous it's amazing! Plus we'll also cover Teddy's bizarre explanation for his actions, the un-banning of the Hell's Gate, giving away this match on free tv, the continuing and confusing saga of Mr. McMahon's picture, the redebut of Drew McIntyre, the absolutely bonkers Smackdown Tenth Anniversary, Eric Escobar, Santino's Undertaker impression, The Rock getting involved in this rivalry, Emperor Palpatine narrating the PPV open, the historic significance of Undertaker's title win at this show, and so much more.
