231: Armageddon 2004 20 Year Anniversary Watch-Along!

It's absolute Armageddon as revisit a forgotten classic Fatal 4-Way featuring El Hombre Muerto on this month's Talking Taker! Join wrestling superfans Alex Doriot and Travis White on their encyclopedic exploration digging up The Dead Man as they take the time-traveling hears back 20 years to December 2004 and a WWE Championship match featuring The Undertaker against JBL, Booker T, and in their only PPV battle, the legendary Eddie Guerrero. It might get overlooked as it took place during WWE's usual "dead month" of December, but that's exactly why we want to highlight this absolute banger of a Ruthless Aggression era classic. If you've never seen it or if you want to revisit, we'll give you the time stamp to watch it along with us, but as usual it'll be just as entertaining if you just want to listen. Along the way we'll discuss the amazing mini-match Eddie and Taker have, JBL's highly entertaining character work, forgotten names like Amy Weber and The Basham Brothers, Luther Reigns' Thanksgiving Dinner, Eddie and Booker coining Taker's new nickname, and the absolutely brutal run-in that totally derails this match from being an all-timer (spoiler: it's all Heidenreich's fault!). We're gearing up for CM Punk's latest Hell In A Cell match by looking back at his first one ever against The Undertaker on this classic episode of Talking Taker BACK FROM THE DEAD! We're looking back to The Undertaker's 7 year anniversary (or as close as we can get) on this month's BACK FROM THE DEAD! Join our cohosts and wrestling buddies Alex Doriot and Travis White as they take the time-traveling hearse back to In Your House: D-Generation X from December of 1997 and a match you probably forgot ever happened - The Undertaker vs Jeff Jarrett! We're celebrating 7 years of our podcast by looking back at the 25 year anniversary of one of our favorite underrated Undertaker matches!
